  • Hi all,

This thread has been invaluable to me over the past few weeks, thanks both to the OP and to ACG. I have previous historic credit issues with a DAS (DMP) that was completed 22 months ago. Defaults etc that were included as part of DAS now all at least 5 years old but it is still lingering around (and sadly will be for a little while yet)

    Timeline so far:

21/9 (Thursday at 4.30pm) DIP submitted - went to Refer which our broker expected.
25/9 (Monday morning) - DIP approved

29/9 (Friday) - Full application submitted after a bit of negotiation on sale price. We have tried to pre-empt things providing proof of deposit, 3 x months payslips (they only ask for 2), 3 x months bank statements, Confirmation the DAS was completed successfully etc, pretty much anything we can think of!

Our broker is fairly calm/confident in the case after speaking to TML as they confirmed in advance they would place the case at RL1 rather than RL2 or RL3 and that they consider the completed DAS as a DMP, not an IVA. I am a nervous wreck in comparison at the prospect of things not going through on our dream property. Provisional entry date on the property is 9 weeks from now and he thinks from a mortgage point of view this will give us loads of time.

I'll post updates as and when in the hope it helps some others - meanwhile, back to all fingers crossed!
  • Hi new to this and wondering how anyone got on recently with TML. Declined with Aldermore so MA got DIP on friday 10th then submitted full application which If i picked him up correctly went straight to refer. This has came back today as happy to proceed and a hars search from TML is on my credit file. Was told this morning by MA to expect an email to sign dd mandate and declaration not received this as of yet. My question is if hard search is done already is that the underwriting team moving forward. Im in scotland applying for 40% LTV and other 60% is coming from my property im selling. Single applicsnt been in same job 17yrs and a good income hoping its not a decline this time.

You’ve resurrected 2 threads that are years old. You would be better starting a new thread.
