Been with Virgin for years, couple of months ago my Broadband/basic TV/landline (which I don't need!) package shot up. Just got round to giving them a call to see if they could find another package I could subscribe to but the automated voice told me I could get £4.50 off straight away just by pressing a hashtag. Didn't even speak to a person and lo & behold I have nearly a fiver off. Spread the word....

They have been doing that for years, if you speak to someone you can get a lot more off, I reduced my cost by £20 a month 18 months ago.
Now I am going to try it again when my contract ends on 1st July.0
