I have FTTP with Plusnet I was on their FTTP trial for several years and was paying £33.84 per month for a 70/20 connection, now they are selling and installing FTTP to new customers and are offering new contracts for existing customers , I have just taken out a contract for the price of £26.99 per month for two years with the same speeds 74/20.
  • I was with Plusnet for a couple of years and the second year I ended up paying £2 a month less for the same service. About 70MB/s which is not full fibre but fast enough for me.
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid

I am paying 3p a month more than I was last year and not the +14.4% after re contacting to below last year's price just before the increase. Earlier in the year they wanted a couple of pence below what I was paying for an early re contract. There is no logic to their pricing model.

Is your line actually capable of running faster, do you know what your current synch speed is?

A colleague at work was on a product that could go up to 40meg, actually getting around 35. He "upgraded" to the 55/10 and found it was actually no faster.

Plusnet DON'T offer a phone service with full fibre ! So no calls included.

NowTV currently offer Super Fibre for £1 a month less than their slower Fab Fibre offering with the same cost for either 12 month contracts or monthly rolling. Go figure.

They've previously charged the same monthly cost for SF and FF for donkeys years.

I just ditched my 2nd BB service with Sky due to their price rises.
That included taking out my decades-old phone service.
I've got a deal with my main Virgin Gb BB til the end of the year.
The service includes phone, which they've just shifted to VOIP, but I don't use it.
I'll be looking at the new 3rd option of FTTP when the time approachs.
So I now have 3 choices for providers.
    I no longer need a home/landline phone.

I assumed you were being offered "full fibre" FTTP ie via fibre optic cables NOT the old copper wires - Plusnet definitely don't offer a phone service with FTTP.

Plusnet have 2 levels of FTTC.
In my case due to the local network there is only a couple of Mbps difference in expected performance between them so I stick with the cheaper one.
