Sports Club having Account closed by Barclays after 50+ Years !!

My local Cricket Club have been served notice that in 60 days our account will be closed by Barclays, all to do with KYC (Know Your Customer) and all that, we have sent our details recorded delivery 3 times and they were signed for, yet they claim not to have received them.
Anyway after the last 6 months of threats and suchlike we have had enough, anyone recommend a good account for a small local Cricket Club, Turnover below £8,000, ?

I hope you're going to complain on behalf of your Club!I can't speak from experience, but I've seen advice that Virgin Money are very helpful to these sorts of organisations:

Don't worry the complaining is well underway, I found it quite interesting reading Barclays Facebook page, how on earth they are still in business reading some of the situations they have put people & Companies in.WillPS said:I hope you're going to complain on behalf of your Club!I can't speak from experience, but I've seen advice that Virgin Money are very helpful to these sorts of organisations:1 -
They may not have, if you sent them recorded delivery. It takes the letter out of the normal process and risks it ending up sitting on someone's desk somewhere. or in someone's pocket.Intoodeep said:we have sent our details recorded delivery 3 times and they were signed for, yet they claim not to have received them.
If they will still accept them, send them to the address they gave you without any additional abnormal service.0 -
Can you not take the documents to local branch?1

I run a local cricket club as well that uses Barclays. Think we uploaded the documents through the online portal0

Looks like a good time to switch to someone better then to get online or even app banking.2
