It is North at the back, meaning south at the front (assumed they can't be front facing) very small area on the sides (not sure on actual size).1 -
There’s no issue with them being front facing. South facing aspects are excellent for PV

We are in a conservation area and my neighbour got his approved no problem (on the front)2 -
We've got black on black panels on the front. And, as we have dark slates, we've just changed the look from lot's of little black rectangles, to a smaller number of large black rectangles.
This was done back in 2012 - when I showed Wifey the pics of the black on black panels I'd found (quite new/rare back then), she called them 'stealth panels'.Mart.
