All of my Samsung TV's have their cables/plugs/sockets sideways facing, so this wouldn't be a problem... Wouldn't stop them breaking if someone snatched the cable downwards though.TELLIT01 said:A wild guess as to cause. TV wall mounted and pushed back too far. Pressure applied to the coax cable stressing coax connection on TV.0 -
This is the aerial input of my, quite old now, UE48H6400 Samsung (the gold coloured plug).I can see how it could be vulnerable, but only if put under some sort of strain etc., or wall mounted as another poster suggested. It is quite well protected by that SCART, yes it really is, plug.

I can understand your frustration with the situation. It's certainly not ideal for a TV's aerial connection to snap within just six days of use. It's disappointing to hear that Samsung TV is not willing to cover the repair cost under warranty. Have you considered exploring other repair options or seeking assistance from local repair technicians? They might be able to provide a more cost-effective solution. It's always worth exploring alternatives before committing to an expensive repair, especially when the product's lifespan has been so short.
