    Last time I looked the company providing the doors would place the hinges where you asked so that might be a possibility..

    We bought a pair of doors which our builders put onto a Howdens carcass to create a vanity unit. Happy with the service, and much cheaper for an odd door than a kitchen refurbishment company we had in to quote to replace our kitchen doors.

    See that would make sense as the main kitchen has a Howdens badge in one cupboard, alas, none to be seen here, perhaps they just didn't put a badge in!
