If it's a separate utility room, will 'near enough' work - they look like a shaker style to me , which is still popular and made by most suppliers

The door looks the same as the one I purchased from B&Q around 15 years ago also. They have blown in the exact same way but I purchased them to cover up a boiler cupboard. I had 4 doors in total and all 4 have done the same. However the ones I have look different from the inside.

Ah, well that's not encouraging is it!

I think we're just keen to try to get the same hinge measurements, but I think in reality the only ways that would happen now is luck or the.made the made to measure place mentioned previously

This is the outside of the door:

Is that door white or cream?
We have a very similar shaker style door on our kitchen in a cream colour - it was from Wickes, around 2006 ish that we installed them.  I just looked and the design of the "step" is slightly differently routed on our doors.
I suspect all the large chains at that time did very similar units.

Why not try some searches on an online auction site "B&Q shaker kitchen door 2005" and repeat with changing the store name and see what success you get.  There might be someone with a random spare door, or someone selling a second hand kitchen.
You might get a result like this one:

The door looks like the Wickes kitchen we had fitted in 2008, even the handles look similar.

Two Wickes in a row eh? There is a wickes about 20 mins away so yeah a possibility!

The door is cream, ideally we would replace all the doors as we're sacking off the cream colour for something else.

    Cheers for the info!
  • The door is a shaker design and that style is made for lots of different suppliers. Best to buy replacement doors from a quality supplier and have the installer cut new holes.

I guess if most doors come *without* holes you'd just put them there the old hinges are.
Not sure if most come pre drilled (as I suspect) or not!
  • If you use a specialist door supplier you can opt to have them supplied without hinge holes. The installer will then drill the new hinge mounts on site to match the existing hinge positions.

Assuming this option isn't considerably more expensive it's probably what we will go for - it's a utility room rather than kitchen, so not always on display, but equally something we use multiple times a day. Also means we don't have too many doors compared to a kitchen too. 7 in total, with two being larger 'larder' style.
