You can try to have it set aside but you need a compelling reason why you did not respond to the claim form AND a good prospect of defending the underlying claim. Fees are £275 unless you get help with fees for being on benefits. Do NOT be tempted to pay by instalments as this will leave the CCJ on your record for six years.
Do you have a record of the conversation where the manager was contacted and you were advised by them (the manager) not to worry about it?

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"

CPR 13.3(a) applies. If the OP is eligible to get their fees covered, it is the only way to go.

    I tend to agree.  Just...

It isn't definite that a Judge would overturn it but we do need to know what letter this OP actually received. Maybe no claim form.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So there is no recourse to have the judgement set asside? Im even more confused than ever. Should it be possible to pay for it in small incriments if it comes to it otherwise? Were both disabled and on benifits.
Why haven't you bothered to answer any of the questions that have been asked?

    For example...
Who who exactly sent you a ‘CCJ warning letter’?
Have you had a claim form from the County Court Business Centre? Did you ignore it?
What exactly did the letter say?
Was it titled Letter of Claim/ Letter before claim?
Are you sure it says you have a CCJ?
Could it not be they said they will issue a County Court Claim?
Which PPC? UKPC by any chance?
It looks like you received a County Court Claim Form. Is that right?

    In reply to some Qs

.no record of manager call sadly, didnt hear anything for at least 10 months then got 1st of the ukpc letters.

Then big gap until nov last year and had a few of the early dcb letters. Then long gap till last month.

Ive not stated i was the driver and havent identified them. Just referred to the events that caused the anpr to trigger an overstay flag.

Appologies for the late replies, my cognative skills can waiver depending on medication and it takes a lot of effort to process information. I fully expect to have missunderstood sections of the faq and should have asked for help earlier but stubborn denial won through lol.
