Le_Kirk said:Read and know your defence, witness statement and evidence inside out, make yourself a crib sheet so that, if you are given a chance by the judge to talk at the hearing, you can make sure you get across ALL your points. Make sure your crib sheet contains pointers from your WS to the evidence page and paragraph using the claimant's bundle as @Coupon-mad suggests.0

Well, I came back from the hearing at Northampton Court.
Signed in with the usher a few minutes before the hearing time. Waited 30 minutes. Was called into a room.
5 seconds later judge STRUCK OUT the claim simply because the claimant did not attend!!!
What a joke of a company NPM and Gladstones are. I asked the judge for my costs she said she could only award for travel and parking expenses.
The main thing is I am glad the claims (totalling £1,200) are all cleared and I didn't have to pay a single penny to these scammers!
Thank God it is all over. Such a relief.
I want to thank: @Coupon-mad @Le_Kirk @KeithP @troublemaker22 and anyone else who has helped me and advised me on this journey. Could not have done it without you guys. Much appreciated!
I have learned a lot during this time, It was a learning curve tbh, good experience.
I WISH EVERYONE ELSE ALL THE BEST!!!
THANK YOU AGAIN TO EVERYONE!

How much has it cost npm and Gladstone's to get this far? I assume some court fees?
Ironic you could claim back parking costs!3 -

You guys probably helped people save hundreds of thousands if not almost millions over the years.
Invaluable work. I commend you all.3 -

And even more tens of millions p.a. is at stake with the statutory Parking Code of Practice coming in. Which I am involved in personally and I love that too. It is important to end scams and the DLUHC must protect consumers, communities and the high streets from this outrageous rip-off industry.
WELL DONE FOR YOUR WIN!
