Well the good news is that a combination of a Christmas gift and some cash squirrelled away has let me pay off TBI.

So I'm now out of the world of debt collection, never intending to return.

It was costing no interest but was hitting my self esteem badly. The feeling that I was in a dickensian debtors' mental prison.

    Farewell that world.

I'm now just an 'average joe' with a credit card to pay and a nearly finished loan.

    Payment Assist (£108/0%) - £27 per month
    Capital One (£470/26.4%) - £23 per month + PAD

Total : £50 per month + PAD from January.

  • £27 to Payment Assist went through for the repairs to the car I no longer have. This debt won't be around soon :)

    Capital One interest added :(

I'm just keeping these debts ticking over for now with no ability to add to the payments. February should be a little better
