How does broadband subscription fee work?

Vodafone also provides Full Fibre broadband in my area via new infrastructure developed by CityFibre. Since there were a few months until the end of my Virgin contract, I decided to wait, but as I checked, the price of Vodafone increases every month:

February £30
March £35
April £45
May £46

What is going on? What is the real price, and what is temporary? Nothing was said that this is a limited-time offer or special price.

The real price is the one currently on offer. It may go up  - or down - at some point in the future.

Make sure you're comparing the right product - eg there is the 500 product at £35 and 900 at £46.
