From what understand if you have a Wales pass and the bus starts in Wales (and finishes in England ) you can usually travel to the end of the route. You may be also be able to travel on further to permitted places (such as local hospital)
Howvever the rules appear to be different for each bus company so best to check before you travel.

Unfortunately not all bus services can offer the £2 fare. Our volunteer-run service gets no subsidy to offer a £2 fare so we can either close the service as financially unsustainable, or charge the fares we always have done. We are contiuing to operate and our passengers are aware of the situation.
