I just attempted to report a blatant SPAM post, and the site said that I do not have permission to do so!
And I received a rather dubious private message, and find that there is no tool for reporting this.
What is happening? Have the fraudsters taken over this site?

Hi @Voyager2002 - on the first issue of reporting a post, it's likely that you attempting to make the report coincided with the thread being removed by the forum team, so the thread was no longer visible in order for you to successfully report it.
On the matter of private messages, please send a screenshot of the PM(s) to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com if you think the message breaks our rules.Official MSE Forum Team member. Please report all problem posts to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com1
