TalkTalk upload speed on Fibre 65

My guaranteed upload speed is 6.22 Mbps but I can't get more than 5Mbps on any of my devices. Even when I only have one device connected and it is a wired connection directly into the router.
TalkTalk tell me that I am getting an upload speed of 12.1Mbps. That seems to be a huge discrepancy and I don't understand why.

If they say your upload speed is 12.1 have you actually checked that by logging into the router at 192.168.1.1 and checking the line rate?
If that figure is above their estimated upload speed then you have no cause for complaint as TT do not guarantee upload speeds as part of your contract.0
