Nice to see the first 5% bond, but I'm waiting for others to catch up. Not keen on Raisin, prefer dealing direct with the provider.5

Why not keen on Raisin?

All from reports on here, and had no reason to use them yet.Millyonare said:Why not keen on Raisin?
Just the fact they act as a middleman, possible delays with deposits and withdrawals and not necessarily the best rates as opposed going direct.
Oh.. and the stupid name

It appears to be 5% on all the 1-7 year fixes, personally dont see how they can manage that (the 5-7 yr offer) but good deal nonetheless.1

ISbank is Turkish. Turkey had a bad earthquake not long ago. Could it be they need to attract money & offering a headline rate would help them to lend for rebuilding ?0

Anything to do with their high inflation currently at 40% down from 80% !
Just to remind readers, Turkey rebranded themselves to Türkiye.

Isbank is FSCS-protected. Raisin takes 2 biz days to deposit the cash. If you can pop £80k in there, it’s £4,000 of free cash, for 10mins of clicking a few buttons.0

Considering their 3-7 yr fixed rates now or whether to top up my vls60 for the next 8.75 years! Same old chestnut would c.8-10 years in vls60 beat 3-7 years fixed at 5%?

Maybe do a hybrid, half in Isbank 7yr, half in VLS60.
Not advice. Just discussion, etc.0
