Can't post on my Kindle any more

I suddenly find I can't post on my Kindle which is where I do 90% of my posts.

The new box shows the ?symbol at the bottom inside the box and not to the left. I type a letter and space and it vanishes, word and the box so a double whammy. Even trying to just put the word 'test' and hit post and it all vanishes, text and box.

I've cranked up my laptop to post this. Even now every return makes a double spacing which is a lot of space, and paragraphs either very full of info or very spread out. (Ah, once posted it a post looks a lot better. Still not enamoured with it when putting in. It's a large area to scan.

From an aethetic there is a huge amount of white screen space when looking at the different grouping of boards. Visually it's very offputting and not easy to read.

I'm disappointed. MSE was an excellent forum to use compared to others I post on.

I post on my iPad and the comment box is much larger

The menue at the top of the screen has vanished also

Hold down the 'shift' key when hitting 'return'.
That will give you single line spacing.

Thanks keith. That works a treat on my laptop.
Unfortunately not so easy on a tablet.
Besides i can only reply now because we've got the working text box back temporarily.
