How Quickly do mods delete reported posts
I am new to this site, and I accidently posted something that had personel information. Unlike any other threads, you cannot delete or edit your posts if you are new, which is really frustrating because I am sure I am not the first person to do this. I have reported the posts, but still on there. Now I am stressed because they could be on there until tomorrow. I know its my fault, but normally, how long does it take mods to delete reported posts?

It depends on the time of day - if it's UK office working hours - it's fairly quick. If it's out of hours it can be slower.

Its really frustrating because surely they know that some people on here will make mistakes and need to edit their post. Be it personel information or something else. NOw i have to wait until tomorrow with all my personel information on a thread, which is worrying. I know its my fault, but never been on a forum where you cannot edit your own threads if you are new.

Ironically, more people will probably go and look at your post now you've highlighted it.
Human nature to want to "rubberneck" as it were.
I haven't 😇....... Yet 😉

You can understand how strefful this is. Sorry, but its a stupid rule you cannot edit your posts if you are new. I am now posting like made hoping I reach the post count so I can edit!

Whilst I don't think any member is privy to the specifics of how many posts you require for editing privileges (I've seen fewer than the number you've so far racked up), but I also think duration of membership is a second criterion - and having only been a member for a day or so, you'll likely have to serve a bit more time, so I'd not overtax yourself adding more and more posts and getting no joy in terms of editing privilege.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

i think you are right. I think it has to do with the amount of time since you joined the site.
