Hi
have been reading details on the forum and wondered if I could get comments.
I have had an appeal rejected by ias today. Not surprised at all, but wondered what I should do next.
my appeal was based on the fact that there were no signs at an entrance point ( proved by photos)
they sent a google image showing multiple images of signs, most no longer exist (again photos)
they told ias that there were signs at the entrance ( in email) which is not true.
ias state they believe there is sufficient signage and invite me to pay within 14 days

Hello and welcome.
Having appealed to the parking company and then to the IAS, you have reached the end of the formal appeal process.
Who is the parking company?
Where did this alleged parking event take place?
Have you complained to the landowner?
What is the parking company claiming that the driver did wrong?1 -
Which PPC? Was the PCN PoFA compliant? Was the driver's identity revealed when you made your appeals to the PPC and the IAS? Have you contacted the landowner/store/whoever to try and get this PCN cancelled? Have you contacted your MP and asked him/her to complain to the PPC on your behalf?
The IAS appeal was almost certainly going to fail. So, not sure you have tried Plan A. You've failed with Plans B & C. You are now in limbo until Plan D. Ignore all reminders and debt collection letters. The only correspondence you must react to will be a Letter of Claim or a Letter Before Court. An LoC or LBC will give you 30 days to settle the, by now, the extortionate sum they allege you owe them and will have to conform to the PAP guidelines as per this document:
https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/procedure-rules/civil/pdf/protocols/debt-pap.pdf
In the meantime, go back and read the Newbies/FAQ thread. You must keep referring back to this thread whenever you have a question. You use that thread as a reference.
You can answer the questions asked here and then come back if/when you get an LoC or you get any response from your MP or the landowner/store. If you change address within 6 years of the date of the parking event, you must tell the DPO of the PPC and any solicitor representing them to "erase" your old address and to update with your new one.2 -
Thanks for response
UKPS, the letter did not tell me how long the vehicle was left there. Could work work it out on poor photos.
I got the time (8 mins) after I asked via email
no driver detail given
mp contacted they have written to UKPS and IAS on mine and others behalf. No response as yet and do not think they will get one.
land owner details are elusive, I would need to ask UKPS again0 -
Took place on private land adjacent to a Sainsbury’s, not their property.
UKPS say I parked on permit only land0 -
So, s advised above, ignore any debt collector letters and come back here if you get an LoC within the next 6 years. End of.1

should the actual words “PoFA 2012” be on the back of the PCN?0 -
Last question re PoFA - my PCN does not mention the length of time on site only the entry time.
is that PoFA compliant please0 -
If the entry and exit photos are time stamped then the time on site has been provided.
To determine if the NTK was or was not PoFA compliant you need to compare it line by line with the PoFA itself with regards to wording and timescales.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks2 -

is that PoFA compliant pleaseDoesn't matter. Don't clutch at straws. Defend it in court if you get a claim. Tell UKPS if you move house in six years. That is all.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
