It seems Halifax/BOS can show you different card details on different profiles. I can see all the accounts I have with them on all profiles but no profile will show me all my cards. I have a total of 8 debit and credit cards across Halifax and BOS, and I can see between 3 and 5 of them in any one profile.  I don’t rely on my Halifax/BOS apps for my card information and management, so I won’t complain.

If you need all the info in your app and can’t see it, you would have to ask Halifax to sort it for you. Good luck with that!

Thanks for this @band7 - do both apps show you all the cards in the PIN/freeze section please?

Nope they don’t. Just what appears to be a random selection. BOS shows more than Halifax, even though most of my cards are Halifax. Life’s too short for me to try and find a logic in their selection.

That’s really weird  - I can see all the PINs etc. in both apps, but only some of the card details. Maybe I’ll ask them, but I doubt I’ll get anywhere. Luckily it doesn’t really matter, it just feels odd and inconsistent

It’s just one of the inconsistencies in the Halifax/BOS systems. Usually these work in our favour so I am not complaining

The card from the account I opened 1st may has just showed online, so took just over a week (without me chasing them). Seems odd given that their website says it should be the day after opening, but at least it is working now. The other one isn’t showing yet, so I’ll give it 8 days

I had this problem with my Halifax card and Google pay. I phoned them several times and they said it was all fine at their end and they couldn't see any reason why it wasn't working. I kept on at them and pointed out that I couldn't see the card in the app either and eventually they they set up an additional card on my account. It seemed to be a bit of a last resort and they couldn't see why it would be different but that card worked fine. I suggest you phonr Halifax and ask that they do the same.

As I remember I had two Halifax current accounts at the time, a joint one and a personal one, and it was the card for the joint account that was opened much earlier that I had trouble with.

Thanks for this. Do you mean they set a second card linked to the same account up, or did they just replace the original card please? I tried the latter, but unfortunately no joy
