For anyone with the Kent Reliance Cash ISA, 2yr fixed rate, Issue 62 (4.4%)…
As I had opened the ISA in Nov 2022, I made an assumption that deposits could only be made in that current tax year (2022-2023).
As I had opened the ISA in Nov 2022, I made an assumption that deposits could only be made in that current tax year (2022-2023).
However, I have just discovered through an online enquiry that the ‘top up anytime’ means that deposits can also be made in this current tax year (2023-2024).
You may be aware of this already, but thought it would be worthwhile sharing in case someone is in the same position.
Very happy that I can continue to receive 4.4% on new deposits this tax year. I’ve not yet subscribed to a new ISA this year and Kent Reliance do the ‘ISA Portfolio’, so I could potentially open another ISA with them later in the tax year too…. which may be handy if rates increase.

Normally you can not add to fixed rate accounts after the funding window closes ( usually 10 to 21 days ) but as you have discovered there are a few outliers where this is possible. It only ever seems to apply to ISA's so the provider is limiting any potential liability.
I think also some offering this facility reserve the right to withdraw it.0 -
Thought the issue 62 was 3.4% ?
