Mine currently has a number of crowns that were dumped by the hut, and I'm taking some to the plant library/exchange later.
The bog standard is Victoria which is mid season.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
I think I have Timperly Early as it always comes up quick in spring when there’s not much else around. I’d definitely go for an early variety.0

Even with a crown you won’t get rhubarb this year, you are supposed to leave them alone the first year.1
