JISA Transfer from Vanguard to Fidelity

Hello there,
I have a JISA S&S for my 14 yo daughter with Vanguard investments. The current value is just over 60k
As there is no maintainance fee with Fidelity for jisa, I was thinking of transferring it over to them. I had a few questions please-
1. Approximately how long would it take? Have read can take upto 8 weeks.
2. Have checked the funds in JISA and they are available at fidelity. So should I proceed with the transfer as it is (funds) or shall I sell them within JISA before transfer ?
3. Has anybody over here done this and how did it go?
4. Any incentives which are available from Fidelity?
Many thanks for looking.

Fidelity state up to eight weeks, but in answer to q2, you don't need to sell and can transfer in specie, via which you stay in of the market, so that avoids any impact.macgyver said:I have a JISA S&S for my 14 yo daughter with Vanguard investments. The current value is just over 60k

They do offer transfer incentives from time to time, just not at the moment. Typically for £60K you might get £150 cashback ??

Thanks for your comments.
I have gone ahead and opened a Fidelity Jisa and have put a request for transfer.
I have vanguard ftse dev world and Vanguard emerging markets funds.
These both were available on Fidelity, so have requested the transfer of funds. They call it re-registration.
Will update here, how is goes.
Thanks again

Re registration ( also known as an in specie transfer) will take longer than a cash transfer. Should still only take a few weeks at most, but delays are not unheard of . Hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised.1
