  • Hello, just arrived home after a month abroad and found a N180 dated 24/07/23, which was the day i left.  They stated I must reply by 10th August 23.  Just wanted to check with yourselves that I should still reply as normal and submit evidence of my flights?
    Thanks in advance.

Yes. Fill it in and email to CNBC and CC DCB Legal. If it's late, you normally get a sanctions order with another 7 or more days to file it. Just do it on line.

They only just posted it after the deadline!  No need to explain anything.  Just get it filled in now.

Look, is there a date-stamp on the envelope?:

Just fill it in as per the NEWBIES thread which covers all the new & old DQ questions.

And email it to the 2 places that the Template Defence thread explains in the first 12 steps.

  • Hello all, just been to the post office to collect an item without a stamp on (!??) and had to pay £5 for the joy of this letter, there were two but I only paid for one as assumed it was a duplicate.I now only have 2 days to do something, having a little panic and wandered if you could advise what is next?

    Why are you time limited?

That Notice tells you that ...

The Claimant is UK Parking Control Ltd.

Unless it's on the next page, you have nothing to do.

Oh of course, so I don’t do anything until I hear about the next stage? Then I should look to send my defence in March? Thank you for replying so quickly, appreciated

Go and get the other letter; it isn't a duplicate.  Take photos in the post office and get a receipt for your fivers.  Complain about this ineptitude.

  • hello, was just about to write my defence today as it’s due tomorrow but after rereading this last letter I received I’m wandering if it’s needed? Does this mean that uk parking control have not submitted what the should have done? They should have submitted by 23/02 but the last letter is dated 11/03, I’m guessing I should submit my defence anyway just in case?
  • The previous letter states if the claimant complies with this order the defendant may send to the court and the claimants solicitors a defence in substitution for the defence dated 27/04/23 by 25/03/24.  Is this now time for my witness statement or do I need to send another defence?

  • Grateful for any help on this please as finding it very stressful.  Thank you.
