Urgent. Date of connecting flight not changed

Short version. My return flight to London from the Gambia via Morocco was booked via Flightcatchers - all flights on the same ticket.The first leg of the return flight was changed from 25 April to 26 April by Royal Air Maroc (RAM). No problem, I thought. However, I've just discovered that they have not changed the date of the second leg from 25th to 26th. RAM referred me to Flightcatchers who say that the two options offered by RAM are 1. A date change or 2. A refund. Neither of these options is satisfactory to me because I need to travel with my injured partner who is booked (separately) to travel on the same return flights (on the 26th) and who will need my assistance. I'd be grateful for any constructive advice. Thanks.

This obviously shouldn't happen for a through-ticketed booked connection with the same airline, but (assuming the first flight on the 25th is cancelled or otherwise unavailable) surely the first option of a date change is what you want, or do you mean that they're unable or unwilling to shift the second leg to the 26th?

Thanks for responding eskbanker. Yes, they're unwilling or unable to shift the second leg to the 26th - which is all we want.

Have you spoken to anyone at RAM? Is there availability on the flight that you want, but just not in the class originally booked? What do you think is the reason why they aren't amending the booking to match?

Solved! Thank heavens! Flightcatchers have found a flight for the second leg leaving Casablanca just over an hour later than originally booked. Thanks for responding guys
