Piggers, sorry I laughed about the eye drops.

All Tuesdailies done except mopping again.  I gave my exercise class a miss so I'm sitting here eating Viennese whirls.  Washing up to date and on line and my feet have had some pampering.  Going to resume reading my book soon, but I do need to pop out briefly later.

I have been to the dentist.

I feel sorry for myself (like I have been completely well and undislocated this past year) because I have a headache.  Woe is me.

I was completely overwhelmed by everything for months but over the past week I think I've begun to surface again.  I've kept up with the laundry but everything else is in total chaos, so I've been dot to dotting for a while and there is now a bit of space in areas that were over-flowing with gibble and general detritus. 

Today I did four hours tidying up and sorting in the yard which has resulted in all the spare terracotta pots going to a neighbour, a couple of stacks of plastic pots and a box of small ones being set aside for donation on Thursday, and a lot of spent compost spread and donated so that's a bit more space cleared and some decisions made.  If only my RoD were as easy to sort.

Full on 8 hours at the paid stuff followed by 2.5 hours cooking tea and flying.  I am done.  Surprise visit from DS1 which was nice.

NDNs seem to be knocking seven bells out of their living room and are making some alarming noises, I dont have a lot of confidence in them knowing what they are doing!!  I am currently sitting here wishing our house wasnt attached to theirs.

DS1 is going on holiday in 10 days and I have been pestering him to get insurance cover with all his health stuff declared and he wants me to get a quote, so off to do that next.

Very late to the party this time. Sorry. I have been a bit discombobulated, not sure why. It feels like time is just rushing me by. Did someone say Toots list? Ha ha, mine just keeps on growing, nothing ever comes off it.
So today, I have changed the bedding, washed it, dried it outside, and even ironed it 😇. Bedroom floor vacuumed to rid it of hair, and ensuite cleaned. I had lunch out with an old friend, who I hadn’t seen since pre-CV. Such a lot of catching up to do, chips AND cake had to be involved.
Dinner cooked. It turns out that DH has eaten most of the leftovers meant for tomorrow night’s dinner. As well he knew 👿.  Not happy.

Changed energy supplier.. it's not fixed but the unit rate and standing charge is less so the bill must be less right? plus the quote they have given is £103 a month less than the current company and I like their app more.. so hopefully I will stop whining about the current rubbish company.

Sorted getting children home tomorrow.. my mother is taking me and DD1's 3 to DD1's about 4m so she can meet Beany and count his toes.

DW done, dinner done and pack ups done.

I am still raging about Twinkles bloods and I need some peace and calm.

I’m up and breakfast done as need to get on the road early, not looking forward to today and dealing with a nasty piece of work. Last night got nothing done as spent a long time going over paperwork then starting to pack which still needs finishing. Aiming to be away by 7 yeah right. I’ll get there then when I get there and so long as it’s before 2 I’ll argue the rest.

Sorry to hear peeps are still poorly or struggling, just be kind to yourself 🤗

Afternoon all.

Despite having had only about 4 hours' sleep last night, I was up bright (maybe) and early today, so I have
- made more progress on the cane toad admin: after many revisions, it is finally coming under control
- S&S'd the bathroom
- made my bed
- done and hung out WMx2
- made scones, bare-cupboard fruit cake and a birthday sponge
- eaten some of the scones with K (who came to clean the parts of the house I cannot reach, which is most of them) and given 2 to J the gardener for his tea (his mum and dad are away on holiday, so he is fending for himself - very capably, but who doesn't like a bit of a treat?)
- mopped the kitchen floor again after baking
- written a shopping list.

I received a letter from the church's new energy supplier, which means that the new Treasurer has not updated the names on our account
I also received an email from the Jungle store which I think must be phishing: it has today's date, but says that an item which I ordered in July 2022 has just been dispatched (however, I received it in July 2022).  Needless to say, I have not clicked on any links in the email!  Consider yourselves warned!!!

Now I must be off to the Action Heart gym and will do the bits of shopping on my way home.  See you later xxx
