Anyone have experience with Shawbrook? Are they alright to take out this bond with or is Kent reliance better?
Both have a very similar one year fixed bond.

I had a 6 month bond with Shawbrook last year
first time I’ve ever opened a fixed bond with one of these online bank companies so was a bit nervy
but had no problems at all - and my money plus interest was back in my nominated account on the date they promised1 -
It's impossible for anyone to say objectively - some will like each and some will hate them, so anecdotal experiences really aren't particularly useful, as seen here:housebuyer143 said:Anyone have experience with Shawbrook? Are they alright to take out this bond with or is Kent reliance better?

Both are mentioned often though, so use the search facility to read through previous threads about them....1 -
Have 6 a/c’s with them , no issues so far. Website can be a little slow sometimes and you can easily log yourself out but great otherwise. On maturity it takes another day to receive money in bank . Customer service I found good.1

2 fixed and one easy access with Shawbrook.
They are quite good. Avoid Kent Reliance if possible.

I've previously had accounts with them, tried to open an ISA a couple of days ago, got some message about identity checking and have heard nothing since.

I’ve had several accounts, haven’t encountered any issues. Then I’ve also had accounts with Kent Reliance and no problems with them either1
