This, very definitely. (I remember DS2 deciding that the requirement to show his passport or birth certificate as part of his student loan application could be met by him rocking up with just his driving licence. - Is the person we are appointing the X who has shown they have the right to work in the UK?- this is where a more varied load of photo ID, bills with addresses might come into play. But different employers may have their own ideas about what they are comfortable accepting
I suspect it will be a while before this makes its way onto the list of acceptable photo ID, but meanwhile I'd say it's worth a try, not least because it's free to obtain!Brie said:
