There was a Range Rover - No MOT - Declared SORN parked on the lane overlooked by us. Reported to Council - DVLA and Police by many people and local councillors sat there for 5 months, Only moved when Police turned up one day making people move vehicles so they could resurface the road.

Sometimes you have to move on and try not to be too invested in what other people are (or in this case are not) doing. If the car's being driven around, the faults and lack of MOT are bound to be noticed sooner or later by some traffic cop because of the ANPR detection systems which most police vehicles have nowadays.

Speeding cars and tailgaters are my pet hates. But I know that if people carry on speeding then at some point they're bound to be caught. Not karma as such, just probability.

If you keep reporting this car/person, then whoever you're reporting to is going to start looking at you, and your motives for constant reporting. You've tried to be a good citizen and have really done as much as you can, short of disabling the car yourself.

There's not a lot more you can do, unfortunately.

Is it insured? That's the bit that would concern me more than no tax or MOT.

Most likely not. Someone who was in the force said "They are most likely not insured but unfortunately they won't do anything until they are caught driving it.".

Its being reported anonymously so they won't be looking at me for constantly reporting it as there is no way of tracing the person who reports it, especially if they use a VPN.
