Neighbours house purchase not on Land Registry?

Hi All,
I had new people move in next door more than a year ago and I've been wondering what they paid for the house so I can get a sense of what mine is worth, but the purchase isn't appearing on land registry listings. There are others on the street since then, but not my neighbours... any ideas why this might have happened and if it will ever appear?

Have you checked the (paid-for) Land Registry itself or only looking at the "free" price listings? The latter sometimes omit sales for unknown reasons.
Was the property already registered? First registrations will take longer to be completed, as will any other complications to a straightforward change of ownership of a registered title.1 -

Some sales don’t show and some take ages.https://landregistry.data.gov.uk/app/ppd

I sold a house last year and neither my sale nor that of my buyers has appeared on the land registry. I suspect my buyers' glacially slow solicitor may have somethng to do with it.

Or try Rightmove - "house prices" from the top menu, then "sold house prices"2

I’ve looked on Right Move sold prices and the free land registry site, but the last listing is when the previous owners bought it in the early 2000’s.
There have been other sales nearby that also appear. It’s odd that this one isn’t showing up..0 -

The one I sold 7 months ago is not on Rightmove sold but is on Zoopla and was on move the market a few months before Zoopla... No idea why.2 -
Whatever the reason for the delay, it will show up at some point.
If you want to save time, pop round and ask them!1 -
