Morning!
I’m awake far too early and have had little sleep.Yesterday was a full day at the paid stuff with a couple of extra hours done unpaid in trying to get information together that needs to be sent by end of today, causing me some stress which is why I’m not sleeping well.
I did fly though as we have DS and his new wife and my DGS staying tonight so mucked out the spare room last night. DH just needs to wash and replace the bedding today as it is dusty. I did have a bit of a rant as that room is usually pretty tidy but had started to become a bit of a dumping ground as does every spare room in the house and I’m fed up with it.
I have my iPad back as my dear Aunty took it back in then hand delivered it back to my house bless her. It’s 70 miles round trip but she wanted to help out. We’ve had to pay for the repair and then claim back on the insurance so she even laid out over £600 for it which I had then had to go through the banks fraud team in order to pay her back! But I have a new unit rather than just the screen and I’ll get most of the money back as it was already approved before it was taken in.
Glad you’ve had your last treatment Valli, that must be a huge relief for you
I hope all the poorlies are improving and that the rain that we have here is keeping down the pollen count for Piggers.
Will need to take the car to work today as I don’t do walking in the wet so no point getting up yet as I would just then be ready far too early to go in and don’t want to give them too many more unpaid hours. Doogie hasn’t woken up yet so she’s not whining to go out either so will waste a bit more time snuffling round the internet before I get on.Have a good day everyoneMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!7 -

Morning all. I was up early and out of the house at 7.30 to collect DGD1+2 and take them to school, as DDiL's car has a flat tyre and they live a mile from the village school, up a very steep hill with a narrow road and no pavement for most of the way. It's also been raining heavily. I am so glad we didn't opt for a house in the country!
Have eaten breakfast, hoovered the LR and finished a couple of admin jobs since returning home. I will tidy the dog's bit of the utility worktop before I go to the gym. Rosie has gone out for an hour with the dog walker, so I won't have to worry about taking her later.
Our outing yesterday to one of our local NT properties to see the bluebells was a bit disappointing - I saw very few in the woods - but the results of our quality check on the scones and apricot flapjack from the café were more than satisfactory7 -

Hi all
Over 42 hours done at the paid stuff this week, I am sooo tired. Hopefully things will start to calm down now though.
I have said yes to a volunteering thing tomorrow, which seemed like a good idea at the time, now feel a bit anxious about it. We need food shopping.
Very little flying done, I will catch up a bit over the weekend. DW and WM on.
Wet and cold here. DH has gone to watch DS1 play in a darts final, so I have wine crisps and the telly to myself. Wont be late to bed.7 -
Hello,
Sorry for having been awol. I am living in YL’s parallel universe again. So wot she said, except that DD is back at uni, DH has gone to the village pub, and I have a cuppa with the remote, as the wine has already been consumed. I might stretch to a jammie dodger later, if I push the boat out.
So pleased for you, Valli, that you have finished the treatment.
The forecast here is wet and cold for the weekend, so outdoor flying looks to be off the cards, and indoor flying steps in. Most of the Mr M shop from Wednesday is still waiting to be put away, so no shortage of things to get on with.4 -

Morning all,
So the weather forecast wasn’t entirely correct. There was a ground frost last night but it isn’t raining so far. Tomorrow is another story though. So I am off to the allotment to see which degree of wetness it is. At this rate the potatoes will be going in for August. Indoor flying may resume this afternoon, or before if my time at the allotment leaves me too despondent.Good luck with fighting back the plant buying hoardes, Kaz!
Have good days all x5
