Which BB suppliers will be available to me next year?

Our Plusnet BB contract is due to finish next month, we are currently on FTTC getting approx 69Mbps download speed. I have no real compliants about the service we receive.
Looking on the PN website I can now get 145Mbps FTTP service for about £27.00 per month on a 24 month contract, or I can extend my current contract for a further 12 months for £30.99 per month.
I am wondering if it is sensible to carry on with our current contract and wait to see who else can provide FTTP this time next year.
There seem to be a number of fibre BB suppliers who come back with a 'we cannot supply to your address at the moment' messages so is there anyway of determining which of these are actively working towards being able to connect us up in the relatively near future? Or should I just bite the bullet and opt for the cheaper FTTP deal but be committed to Plusnet for 2 years?
(BTW we can also get Virgin media BB but I am reluctant to sign up to them - heard lots of negative feedback)
Thanks

If Plusnet can offer you FTTP, then any other Openreach based supplier should be able to do so2
