    Update:
    I had an eMail over night from Virgin acknowledging the linking of my card with a "New" device, and stating that any privious links would no longer work.
    On checking the app the direct debit now shows up. It also points out that DDs are not taken if the due date falls on a weekend or bank holiday, but on the next working day. Good to see they recognise rest days for their IT systems.
