NS&I Passcode

Is anyone else having problems with logging on to NS&I? I could do so last month but now they say they have to send me a one time passcode and once I've agreed the website says it's been sent but nothing arrives at my phone, which is a landline - I don't have a mobile. I did try phoning them but the woman just seemed annoyed that I'd bothered her and couldn't/wouldn't help.

You might have to contact them to ensure that the NS&I number doesn't get blocked according to what they've written.

I've had no problems using my landline for passcodes but have to admit it's been a couple of months since I last needed to enter one. I'd make a formal complaint. Their customer service has become truly shocking recently, they are meant to be there to help.justwantedtosay said:I did try phoning them but the woman just seemed annoyed that I'd bothered her and couldn't/wouldn't help.2 -
Thanks both. I receive automated calls for this purpose from other providers so I don't think there's a good reason why NS&I's doesn't work. I certainly haven't blocked any numbers. I've never needed a passcode from NS&I before.0

It worked for me yesterday with a landline number. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.1

When I used to get OTP by landline it always seemed a bit haphazard with NS&i
sometimes i would get one - sometimes I wouldn’t - sometimes the phone would ring and I would just get silence when I picked up
gladly it seems much more reliable now I use a mobile instead0 -

It worked for me this morning, but it was extremely slow logging on and continued to work painfully slowly with long pauses every time I clicked on something. Perhaps best to wait and try again later.

I actually changed from mobile to landline because it wasn't working on mobile and of course, NS&I blamed the carrierranciduk said:When I used to get OTP by landline it always seemed a bit haphazard with NS&i

I've been trying today as they emailed to say I had a message. When I log in they say my password has been suspended and to click "forgotten password" to reset online. When I do this I am told I can't reset online and online and phone access are suspended. This is despite setting up online passcode last week. It does say they are doing technical updates overnight so I will hope this may sort it.0

Got in to site but can’t access any documents, it just gives an error message. No wonder they need to work on the site tonight!0
