Hi All
Last year on the 28th Of June I flew from Madrid to Heathrow IB3180 and was supposed to get a connecting Flight from Heathrow to Belfast City @ 19:25 BA1426
I seem to remember the Belfast flight was cancelled, we queued up for 8 hours to be told to get a hotel and get the flight the following morning @ 06:50 am
I am trying to claim compensation and after 9 months BA has said the flight left on time, and you first flight was late by 27 minutes, so our claim is with Iberia.
Can anyone find out whether the flight BA1426 @19:25 actually did take off on time or was it indeed cancelled like I remember.
If you could post a link that would be great, I cannot seem to find one.
Thanks in Advance
Regards

I'm not aware of any freely available data like that, especially for so long ago - you can usually access flight data for a couple of weeks via public domain flight tracking sites but might need to buy a subscription to get hold of historical stuff.
However, surely you must have some recollection of exactly what caused you to queue for eight hours, in terms of whether you missed a connection because of a delayed first leg (or time take transferring maybe?) or if the second was cancelled? Was it all a single booking on one ticket?
Perhaps unlikely in the circumstances, but do you remember what you were told about the reason for a delay and/or cancellation, as this would impact on whether or not compensation was due?0
