hi my mother has been on basic for years now but we are finding as she now streams a bit more that her basic speed and capacity are affected that we were thinking of going onto Vodafone essentials with the better speeds, after seeing martins post on the main site. any opinions on this ?
Thanks

Your internet speed is line, not provider, dependent, though package you pay for can affect as well.
So if you can only get up to 38Mbps on the line it doesn't matter who you go for, that's all you can get.

I think what you mean is your usage limit on BT Basic is IIRC 15Gb a month.  The replacement, BT Home Essentials, doesn't have a cap on it.
