Do agents with multiple branches sell houses in other areas? And is the market picking up?

My estate agent is a local one -- one branch. My house has not sold and nobody seems very interested in it. I am thinking of changing agent.
I have decorated it in a, uh, trendy young style, but I am not in a funky young area. A few miles away there is a trendy young area full of well-heeled and sometimes arty young families.
If I went to an estate agent with a branch near me and many others, including in the trendy young area, would non-local branches also be trying to sell my house? Or don't they promote houses for rival branches? Does anybody know, please?
While we're about it, has anyone experienced the market picking up now it's spring?
Thank you for reading this. Hope it makes sense...

Is it on Rightmove? That’s the only place most people look. If it is and you are not getting viewings then possibly priced too high?3

It is on RM. And yes, it may be priced too high. But if it is, then all the houses for sale nearby are also too high because I have priced it to be at the bottom of the prices houses that are similar locally. If I dropped the price, it would fall into a bracket full of houses with fewer bedrooms, no off street parking etc. But it could be too high, I agree. Hardly anything in the same price bracket has gone under offer locally, however, so it's not just me!1

Some of my last post didn't make sense, did it? I should have said I priced it to be at the bottom of the price bracket of similar houses in a similar location.
Sorry, my bad.2 -
Some areas are quiet are you monitoring the number that have gone sold subject to contract in your area?
To be honest if it's on Rightmove that's really the main thing but some areas have slowed whilst people take a breath and work out what their next moves are.
Is there a rush behind the sale?1 -
You could just use an agent in the funky area of your choice. There’s no real need to hire a local agent. They all have access to RM. They can all take some snaps and write some blurb. The only issue I can think of is whether they would be able to attend all the viewings, but maybe you could do that?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1

Are you implying that if your house was marketed by the agent in the 'trendy young area' that someone wanting to buy there might see your house and suddenly think they'd buy in your area instead because it's decorated in a 'trendy young style' ?1

BUT I THINK MY AREA IS MUCH BETTER VALUE AND HAS EVERYTHING THE TRENDY AREA HAS EXCEPT TRENDINESS! AND GOD KNOWS IT COULD DO WITH SOME ARTY YOUNG COUPLES TO LIFT IT UP A BIT!1
