Tastecard Scam

Possibly, but it's more likely that OP is mistaken or in the click-through process, they inadvertently signed up to a different term to that shown on the original advert.
Unless OP confirms what they signed up to, knowing they have the evidence of having done so, we're all guessing.1 -

I 'signed up' to the Tastecard for a free 90 day trial, on 7th February 2023 and marked it in my diary to cancel it in plenty of time as I have no wish to continue an annual subscription.
On 8th April they took £39.99 out of my account. This is way before the 90 days. So I emailed them requesting a refund and they are refusing to refund me because they say I signed up to an annual subscription which came into force on the 8th April...I certainly DID NOT do this. How can I take this further because I want the full amount refunded to me straight away?
Thanks everyone
Did you get a welcome email? If so - what does it say in that?

Deep seated hatred of Scottish Power and all who sail in her - would love to see Ofgem grow a pair and actually do something about it.0 -
OP has logged on since, but hasn't answered. I suspect they've realised it was a 60 day trial, and therefore not a scam. That would leave them hoping for a goodwill refund.cymruchris said:Kajagoogoo78 said:Hi, can anyone help me please?
