Tastecard Scam

Hi, can anyone help me please?
I 'signed up' to the Tastecard for a free 90 day trial, on 7th February 2023 and marked it in my diary to cancel it in plenty of time as I have no wish to continue an annual subscription.
On 8th April they took £39.99 out of my account. This is way before the 90 days. So I emailed them requesting a refund and they are refusing to refund me because they say I signed up to an annual subscription which came into force on the 8th April...I certainly DID NOT do this. How can I take this further because I want the full amount refunded to me straight away?
Thanks everyone

Are you sure it wasn't a 60 day trial? Their website says 60 days2

That shounds like a 60 day trial which is what is currently showing on their website. Are you certain it was 90 days - do you have any documentation ?1

What does your sign-up documentation/email say? 60 days, or 90? As far as I can see, there is a 90 day trial, but it's £1 not free.0

I am 100% it was a 90 day trial, no question0

But if that's not the deal you signed up to, it's irrelevant. What actual documentation do you have for your trial? If you signed up through another site, e.g. myprotein, then surely your dispute is with that site, not tastecard?2

https://www.tastecard.co.uk/subscribe/try-tastecard you get a 30 day trial
https://www.tastecard.co.uk/subscribe/campaign/linkbux 90 day
https://www.tastecard.co.uk/subscribe/blue-monday-2023-sms 3 months
It looks like something went wrong as OP has been given a different trial then OP signed up too.
