Scottish Power Cancelled Charges?

Hello (and thanks to those who responded about my energy issues recently.) I, after 3 years of a serious neuroglical illness, put an actual meter reading (they'd been estimated for over 3 years) into my Scottish Power app that was 2000 higher than their last estimate, and prepared myself for the consequences. After receiving no response for a few days I cheked the app again. There is an adjusted bill for 31 March that shows a charge of over £4000 added, and below that the same amount with a minus before it and a note to say its a "cancelled charge." No increase to DD and my account is showing as £295 in debit. Does anyone know what this means? I thanks in advance!

So did you give them the requested reading and when? When was the March bill done, your original post was from 5th of April and you had not given a reading at this day. That leaves only the 6th of April as a work day.
What exactly was the bill that was cancelled for?

Thanks for your reply. I was able to "backdate" the reading to 31 March, some kind of extension from "meter reading day" that stated as long as a reading was given by 5 April it would be recorded as being made on 31 March. I gave the reading on 5 April as the responders advised and it shows as being made kn 31 March.0
