Yes, it's a network issue.Aylesbury_Duck said:And you've tryed syncing contacts, copied them to the SIM, etc?
I can see who I'm calling from my contact list. I just can't see it the other way when I receive a call..."Wealth consists not in having great possessions, but in having few wants."0 -
Have you checked your settings on the phone app eg 'supplimentary services' and 'other call settings'0

Disagree. My GP calls twice then you’re at the back of the queue again. That’s a call I’d quite like to know I’ve missed.born_again said:
My take on that is, it can't be important. So don't worry.DannyCarey said:
Yes, if I have a missed call and they don't leave a message I have literally no idea who has called me...Aylesbury_Duck said:I guess it depends on the contract. Is caller ID considered an essential function? I'd argue it's a reasonable expectation. Is your contract for SIM and device, or just the SIM?
Perhaps tell them, to leave a message.Life in the slow lane0 -

In any case I’d want to pick the phone up and speak with the doctor .If I’m anticipating a call from the doctor I would not want to answer an unknown call and then find it’s from Fred to tell me his protracted tales about his recent fishing trip!0 -
Unknown number is usually where the person calling you has switched off "own number sending" on their mobile, or has a landline with this feature.DannyCarey said:
I can see calls and missed calls. It just when either happen it says "unknown number"Alter_ego said:So the number doesn't even show in "Missed Calls" ? How do you know you've had a missed call?
Have you tried calling the phone with another one that "sends" the number?0 -
Have you tried the SIM in another phone? I suspect the issue is with the network but that would prove it was the case.0
