Phone never shows the caller

I've been a t**Co mobile customer for several years.
I upgraded to a new contract about 5 months ago. There was some issue internally at the company where my details were being moved to another system.
Since the start of the contract my phone has never once shown who's calling me. Despite all settings configured and checked. Even a SIM swap.
Been told over and over again it would be sorted within 24 hours and it never is. Anytime I go on support i am told its a fault and they are working on it. No timeliness and it's been really pretty poor service.
What can I do here?

I guess it depends on the contract. Is caller ID considered an essential function? I'd argue it's a reasonable expectation. Is your contract for SIM and device, or just the SIM?0

Does it show the number that's calling?

Yes, if I have a missed call and they don't leave a message I have literally no idea who has called me...Aylesbury_Duck said:I guess it depends on the contract. My take on that is, it can't be important. So don't worry.DannyCarey said:

So the number doesn't even show in "Missed Calls" ? How do you know you've had a missed call?

Disagree. My GP calls twice then you’re at the back of the queue again. That’s a call I’d quite like to know I’ve missed.born_again said:
