Yes, battery life is a concern. I like your recommendation but refurbished Huawei is £84 whereas I have found a £45 refurbished ZTE mf286d also unlocked. I'm on a tight budget. Could you please have a look for me. I found an eBay business with excellent customer feedback.
I'm not a techie unfortunately I don't understand all the terminology.0 -
I did the speed and strength test and got good for three out of the four networks, just not Vodafone. It's surprising as I use a Lebara SIM and it works ok in my phone.0

I'm thinking of getting the Smarty data only SIM, as it's the cheapest one on a rolling monthly. I'll buy whenever I have visitors staying. Never more than three people using the WiFi at any one time.
.
Please help me if you are able.0 -
Cant see any reason for the ZTE router not to workNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers1

I use a three sim in a huwaeie 4g router when at our caravan. I have noticed the data speed varies tremendously depending on time of day 50mbs at 4am, 1-2 mbs at 5pm. Really bad in busy holiday periods.1

If you're sure it works, there's some interesting long-term deals on Amazon.
E.g. this one on EE (Other networks are available).
