Does Tandem have a transfer limit?

I transferred £10000 to Halifax from Zopa to send to Tandem. But ultimately could only send £5000. Trying sending the other £5000 later didn’t work. So I sent it back to Zopa for now. Any ideas?

I'm sure I would have sent larger sums than £5k in the past. It is unlikely to be a restriction on Tandem's side, as they would accept whatever is pushed to them. Most likely Halifax is flagging the larger payment.

I don't think so, have done £25k before. Most likely limit imposed by your bank. 

Unfortunately banks dont make it clear so if you are using open banking maybe limit is lower then normal bank transfer

How did you try to make the deposit? Initiated from Halifax, or initiated from Tandem? I always do the latter, though not with Halifax. I have often deposited much more than £5k a go.

Initiated from Tandem

If you initiated it from Tandem that will be via open banking and Halifax has a £5k daily limit on open banking. 
If you send it as a payment from Halifax they have a daily limit of £20k. Silly, I know.

I’ve done £25k a few times to Tandem via faster payment, and usually arrives in 10-20mins

Must be your bank, I’ve sent 85k on 3 occasions over the last three years to Tandem.
Sent 25k to them 30 mins ago.
Took about 7 minutes to get confirmation text.

Does anyone know what the daily limit is for the opposite process - i.e. transferring money from Tandem back to your linked account (Barclays in my case)? I presume any such limit would be set by Tandem but I can't find any mention of it in the account information.
