  • Hello, sending lots of love to @CMD79

thanks @Makingabobor2 for starting this for April.

I was aiming for £5 a day and have beaten this so far this month. I’m at £215.36. This is from eBay, curious cat, bank interest, credit card Cashback and prolific. I’m seeing what else is possible this month - so maybe a £7.50 a day target is sensible  (£232.50)  I don’t want to stretch to £10 a day as ebay is a slog these days!

    Good luck everyone x

I'm with you on eBay, so tedious! Might look into doing a car boot sale instead when the weather gets warmer.

  • Got a refund from my water of £220 ☺️ I knew had had excess with them but thought they'd used it against my DD as that's reduced by £21 per month so very happy with that ☺️

Off to a good start to April with £26.36 in interest and £175 from bank switch.  An improvement on last month.  I will aim for £300 this month.
    Make £10 a day challenge - January 2023 = £292.89/£310 - Feb 2023 = £677.09/280 - March 2023 = £102.45/£310 - April = £300.12/300 - May 2023 = £306.80/£310 - June = £245.88/£150 - July = £295.45/£310 - August 2023 £51.56/£310

    That’s a 2good idea @Hollie_Hobbie

I have stuff now that’s just hanging around, some has been listed on eBay for weeks. Some has had bids and then withdrawn.

I do think car boot sales have changed for the worse as well, people asking you how much you want, you say a fiver and they offer 20p 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’d probably make a fiver on top of the entrance fee but I am up for it!

Hope to give eBay a push this week and then have a think.

Despite the frustrations of car boot sales, I’d still rather do that than Facebook!

I completely lost track of what I made last month... dont think I got anywhere near my target! Was going to aim for 10 a day this month... and already nearly hit that with some cash converters sales and paid gigs coming up. So think I'm going to aim to make up the amount I missed last month... so 300 + whatever I'm outstanding from my march target!
    Savings goal by 31/12/24: £22000
    Dec 23: £6945.23

Oh gosh forgot about that with car boots 😯 it's that long since I did one that I think I'm looking back with rose tinted glasses 😂

Though still think I'd prefer it to the dreaded eBay!

Its certainly getting harder to sell anything these days, people just want to look on the Free pages and see what they can get. Not sure we'd bother to do a car boot again, seemed far too much hassle for what we ever made, especially when DH always wanted to spend our profit on bacon butties or doughnuts....lol

Not made anything over the weekend, but got quite a bit waiting to approve on P/fc and listed a couple more bits on FB pages, so fingers crossed.

I’ve made £22.61 today and am very pleased about that. 🤣

    This is from
eBay - sold a dress at a very low price but happy to see it go!
£7.03 from Prolific (another £5.50 to cash out and count soon 😀)
Curious Cat £1.14 (after being unbanned.)
10p I’m counting that I found on the floor.

Looks like I could get to £300 this month with some effort, if the YouGov finance thing works that means I could cash out £50 this week which could be a good extra push.

    Good luck all 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
