Baggage

My husband and I have always gone on package holidays before but now we have decided to book flight and holiday separately. We want to take a 1 hold bag each out and back obviously. Now this may be a stupid question but when it asks how many hold bags we want is it 2 (as in 1 per person there and back) or it is 4 (as in 1 there and 1 back for 1 person and 1 there and 1 back for the other person)?

If you compare a like for like package deal with your DIY prices with luggage added you may find little or no significant price difference.

The former will also include transfers.

An off the shelf package deal has its advantages if you encounter problems with flights or the hotel - sorting them is the tour operator's responsibility in the first instance.
