Wifi Virgin

Hi I've recently got virgin broadband, one of my rooms has terrible wifi. When I speak to them they try to just offer me to buy pods and other things. Has anyone got any suggestions or success to get a free booster device.

I had a similar issue. Bought Eero mesh wifi (3 units) Wifi now reaches beyond the bottom of the garden and every room in the house has a strong signal. You have to connect to the Virgin router by ethernet cable with one unit and put the router into modem mode. I have also noticed there are virtually no dropped connections.

Just buy one, you've absolutely no entitlment to a "free" one
