Yes, I have the same problem.Alexland said:wmb194 said:New tax year, new shenanigans. This morning I've opened a Trading212 S&S Isa to take advantage of its offer of 1% cashback on deposits. It's a good offer if you can drop £10-20k into the account for £100-200 cashback. I'm going to hold out until I can find someone that will give me at least £100 cashback on my S&S ISA this tax year for a token deposit of a grand or so. I'm a bit limited as most places would not consider me a new customer and am obviously avoiding friendly societies.
I've just received a notification to say that, a couple of hours later, the cashback has been deposited to my T212 GIA. It's locked in for a year and I'll just invest it in something but not bad!1 -

I had already decided to wait until Tuesday just in case of any issues with moving various monies around as will do some EA manipulations too.1 -
Hmm I am tempted by AJ Bell's offer of a £150 gift voucher for at least £10k of S&S ISA contribution or transfer as it seems to be open to existing customers with no minimum tie-in other than the fairly short claim payout period. I could transfer some money I am holding in a Santander Cash ISA (my old iWeb account) to buy my wife out of her share of the house later this year and stick it in a money market fund to earn a slightly higher return enough to cover at least the AJ Bell fees and it's not much extra hassle as I already have a different account with AJ Bell. That way I still have this year's S&S ISA available to place elsewhere for more cashback...wmb194 said:Yes, I have the same problem.

And you posting this at just after midnight kinda suggests they might be right.....😂😜.Alexland said:At work our financial year ended on 31st March so a few of us involved in the inner workings of the company have been wishing each other happy new financial year. Today I reminded some colleagues that it was the end of the personal tax year and they just told me I need to get a life.
(Hope this new (financial/tax) year is better for you than the last one clearly was)2 -
I put £20k into a Bestinvest S&S ISA this morning to take advantage of the £350 cashback via Quidco. Invested it all in the Royal London money market fund. The ISA is flexible so once the cashback is paid I can look look at other alternative platforms with cheaper fees, I will also probably need some of the money later this year, which is why I wanted to find a flexible one.Alexland said:

I've found the BestInvest service to be pretty good on my recent ISA and GIA with them hopefully they will pay the £110 TopCashBack and £100 under their own transfer offer. Both accounts were funded with just over £1k invested in an Abrdn money market fund as I didn't want to give them too much as paying a 0.4% platform fee even for a short period gives me wobbly knees. Are you not tempted to try their own offer now on a GIA transfer?Stargunner said:I put £20k into a Bestinvest S&S ISA this morning to take advantage of the £350 cashback via Quidco.
