I had a look at the site, and I could not find a description of their charges. Their T&Cs ramble on for ages. It looks like eHarmony are a company to avoid. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1

I would be keen to know if anyone had any luck in resolving this issue. The same thing has just happened to me.I have opened a complaint through Resolver and I am letting eHarmony know that I am intending to make a complaint with Trading Standards as well since it strikes me as a clear as day violation in the way the above Guardian article specified.I would also be interested to know if there is anyone interested in banding together and letting them know that we are all going to concurrently make a complaint about eHarmony to the Trading Standards.1

This happened to me. What's worse is they have not allowed me access to my account which is still live until I lay the so-called £65 despite cancelling a 3 month subscription within 14 days as is my right.
I would be keen to know how you got on regarding Resolver and would be interested in banding together to make a complaint to Trading Standards or such0 -

It literally just sends emails, does nothing else to assist.Trading Standards won't help in getting money back etc. You can't contact them directtly, it's via CAB and they will just log it on their system.2 -

They can’t delete their profile if they can’t get into the system in the first place. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.3 -

If you delete it before you tell them to cancel, you clearly can access your profile.Life in the slow lane1 -
Because e-harmony wants £65 for the privilege whereas their terms and conditions say they should be able to cancel free within 14 days? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
