Juat received an email from Cov BS announcing they are launching a Fixed cash ISA to loyal customers paying 4.4%
Loyalty Fixed ISA (1) 31.05.2024
4.40%
tax-free p.a./AER*
(Fixed until 31.05.2024)
No idea why, my wife has not yet received a similar e mail.
We have both had numerous accounts with Cov BS for many many years.

I've not yet had the eMail so will wait with trepidation. As I already have the EA ISA with Coventry it should (hopefully) be easy enough to move everything across.EDIT: Although apparently not as it doesn't allow Transfers. Still, it means I'll get the £50 Voucher from Santander now as I wasn't originally going to transfer all the Coventry funds.0

I telephoned Coventry to ask, since I have a fixed (non ISA) savings account with them which matures at the end of April. On maturity I thought it would be good to use the matured funds and fund the 4.4% Coventry loyalty ISA, hoping, if possible, to add some savings to the ISA as the year progresses.
It seems that I can open the new 4.4% Coventry loyalty ISA but, if opened tomorrow, will only accept subsequent deposits for 14 days or for as long as the 'offer' is open.
It looks as if I'll have to wait and look for a flexible/non fixed rate ISA or (if I open the Fixed ISA tomorrow) I won't be able to add any more to the Coventry one as this 'new' ISA year goes on.
Am I right in thinking that, if I open this Coventry ISA, then after 14 days when I cannot add savings to it, I won't be able to have another ISA anywhere this tax year?
Thank you for any confirmation.
